How do you use Elimax® 2-in-1 Shampoo?

This lice shampoo is very easy to use. Follow the steps, and don't give lice a chance!

Step 1/2

Treat hair when dry

Cover the shoulders with a towel to prevent the product from dripping onto the skin and clothing.

Use the handy applicator to apply the lotion directly to the hair and scalp.

Cover the whole scalp and the full length of hair.

Work in from the roots to the tips, especially behind the ears and around the neck.

Run through every lock of hair with the detection comb. If the hair is hard to comb, use a hairbrush or ordinary comb first and then switch to the detection comb.

Leave the hair uncovered and allow 15 minutes for the product to take effect. You can keep combing in these first 15 minutes to spread the product evenly and begin removing the lice and nits

Step 2/2

Wash the hair

Apply a little water to the hair to bring the shampoo to a foam.

Rinse the hair with lukewarm water.

Towel the hair dry.

Check the hair regularly over the next 7 days and repeat the treatment if necessary.

What is LPF and how does it make the hair unattractive to lice and protects against re-infestation for up to 3 days?

Elimax Shampoo contains a Lice Protection Factor (LPF). This ingredient protects the hair up to 3 days against a lice re(infestation), which can be a great help during lice season. It works in 2 ways:

Neutralises electrostatic charge of the hair

Lice don't jump, they are attracked by the electrostatic charge of you hair. LPF neutralises the electrostatic charge of your hair, so lice aren't attracted to the hair.

Conditions the structure and scent of the hair

By adding a specific fragrance that lice dislike, they don't want to move to your hair. No worries, the scent is only sensible for lice, we are not able to smell the difference.
